Semi-matte architectural paint with a soft satin gloss and fine filler. The material is ready to work, easy to apply with a brush in one or two coats on the paint substrate and does not require additional protection. It is environmentally friendly and safe, water-based, odorless.
The coating is durable. It can withstand wet cleaning and can be locally restored.
The work volume can be done by one worker. The material can be comfortably distributed, it doesn't dry out and it can be adjusted. The glossiness can be varied by the number of layers. The more layers, the denser and more matte the coating is.
PREPARATION
• The substrate must be clean, dry and firm. Remove crumbling and flaking old coatings, prepare the surface.
• General surface preparation: apply Primer to plastered, chalky or absorbent surfaces. Use covering primer for previously painted walls, cornices, moldings, baseboards, MDFs, chipboards, fiberboards.
• Apply colored undercoat: two layers of decorative or interior paint tinted in the softwall color.
• The mix is ready for use. Mix thoroughly before application.
• It does not require dilution.
• If the material has thickened due to storage or transportation, dilute with Conditioner by 5-7%. Dilute buckets of the same color with the same amount of Conditioner and remember the selected proportion.
• Do not store diluted material!
APPLICATION
Softwall is applied with a brush, with circular rubbing movements, the layer is built up gradually, depending on the desired decorative effect. One layer gives a pearly, satin finish, two layers give a denser and matte finish.
The application temperature should be not lower than +10°С.
It is recommended to use a brush with natural bristles. The minimum brush size is 3x10 cm.
The tools should be cleaned with warm water and soap.
COLORING
Softwall can be tinted with MeToo or Monicolor pigments in a small proportion. It is also possible to make Softwall material based on any shade of Pearl Glaze. For selection and ordering of individual color, please contact mka.paint workshop.
